Brand new in factory box any type of astringent cleaner or abrasive cleanser, pad, cloth sponge will damage the finish. Minor cosmetic damage to outside of box, but faucet and soap dispenser are in perfect new condition as shown photos. The underlying color is not 100 black, even though it looks that way in photos. Matches the entire hampton suite.

These finishes are not durable, and easily scratched or scuffed. You can maintain this look by applying mineral oil or some types of wax to the faucet and then wiping is with a dry, lint-free cloth. It has a very slightly brownish tint. C-spout design w reach.
